My father founded Arya Bhangy in 1969, making hand-carved teak doors that came to stand in homes, temples, churches and public institutions across India. From that beginning we have built a group of five companies, spanning manufacturing, automotive retail, hospitality, workspaces and real estate.
We entered construction in 2008, and it is now central to what we do. We develop residential and commercial spaces across Kochi, from apartments to office and co-working addresses, and more than a hundred families today live in homes we have built.
We came into this business with a reputation already behind us, and that has shaped how we build. We take on fewer projects than we could, we hold to a standard we set ourselves, and we stay involved long after handover. Some of our earliest buildings are still looked after by us today.
Build fewer, build better, and stand behind the work long after the keys have changed hands. That principle has not changed in fifty-five years, and it will not in the next.

The story began in 1969, when Davis Thomas started a small workshop crafting hand-carved wooden doors. In 1995, his son George Thomas took over and grew it into a chain of showrooms across India, with a manufacturing facility in the UAE by 2006. Some of our doors have entered the Vatican Art Gallery as well.
In 2003 the family entered automotive retail with a Honda two-wheeler dealership, and in 2008 they moved into real estate with their first commercial building in Kalamassery. Today the group five decades of one family building a reputation for quality.

We have been developing residential and commercial spaces across Koch since 2008i. From Kakkanad to Vyttila, Panampilly Nagar to Kalamassery, our projects have followed the city as it's grown, and along the way, we've handed over homes to more than 200 families.
Every space we develop is built to a standard we don't compromise on. It begins with the right location, and ends with sound construction, so you don't just move in, you settle.

Good building has to think past the day the keys change hands. We plan for how a space settles over the years so the homes we deliver today still feel right ten and twenty years from now.
Rather than build as much as possible, we take on projects we can see through properly. We stay selective, and plan spaces that make sense for where Kochi is headed, not just where it is today.
